Thank you for visiting my professional website. I am an experienced higher education professional driven to inspire instructors and students to achieve academic and personal success. My background is in library and information science, instructional design and technologies, online teaching and learning, student affairs and academic advising, and history.
In my current role as a Learning Technology and Instructional Design Consultant in the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM), my work is focused on developing new and pedagogically significant approaches to teaching and learning in online, blended, and technology enhanced traditional courses. I provide instructional design support and feedback for subject matter experts to develop meaningful, learner-centered activities with higher-order learning objectives aligned to course and program outcomes. I am also an adjunct instructor in the UWM School of Information Studies.
My current areas of interest include student support in higher education, instructional technologies, instructional design, online education, active learning, open educational resources, information science, and academic libraries.
